Day 8 was a lot of fun… We went Downtown in the morning so we can eat, again at Wolfgang Puck, got get E’s Vinylmation and for me to pick up a shot glass for a friend.
After DT, we came back to the room for a while until we left for Magic Kingdom at 2pm. While at MK, we rode Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Swiss Family Treehouse, Tiki Tiki Room, Small World, The Tea Cups, train around the park and the Philharmagic. We ate at The Plaza and walked around taking photos. We stayed for the Spectromagic parade too.
After that, we came back to the room and did some laundry… It was a drama free day, very relaxing for the both of us.
We had a super easy day yesterday… We went to Boma for breakfast, which was a buffet and then headed to Animal Kingdom for the parade and Kali River Rapids. We knew that if we did KRR that we would be soaked and would have to go back to the hotel cause we both refuse to walk around the park in soggy clothes.
When we got to the park, we scoped out our spots for the parade, which was a perfect location. The parade was fun and I had not seen this parade before. I was so happy… Cool part was I knew some of the music… they played “Pata Pata”, disneyfied though. After the parade we headed to dinoland USA and went to the Restaurantosaurus. YAAAY. Which basically was burgers and dogs, but still. Then afterwards we walked around to KRR, and it was closed. Damn! But it might open back up later, technically difficulties. So, we ran (well, not really to the Safari.
After the Safari, we went back to KRR to see if it was open. Nope, but they said it was not going to be too long. So we waited. Finally they opened up the ride and we headed up. It was sooooo much fun, even if both E and I were on the soaked side. We baggied oour cameras and phones. After that, we headed back to the hotel. E read a little, she is reading “Wicked” and I texted Mandy while I was editing another chapter and wrote on my personal blog. After E went to bed, I stayed up for a while with Mandy on the other end of my texts cause she was at work. Well, she finally said YES to me. So, officially Mandy and I are a couple. Long distance relationship is gonna suck for a while, but of well. For those of you who don’t know the whole “Mandy” story, I will be emailing you personally about it, like Mom, Wendy, Amy, and others…
So… All those following us on our Disney trip has been without us for a while. It has been a bumpy ride ride for the first few days, but we are back in the swing of things.
Here is the update of our trip so far…
Day 3: We went to Hollywood Studios which I already posted a video of the Pixar blockparty bash. We rode the Tower Of Terror. Which is an awesome ride. For those of you who do not know, basically it is a service elevator that takes you up and drops you, up again, drop… It is random so each time you ride it is a different sequence. We got to go on the other side, which I had not been on. Those seem to be a better batch of drops. Even though the ride gets me nervous, after the first drop, I am totally fine and love it. We met Frozone from the Incredibles. We were gonna met the up characters, but the line was way too long. We had a snack at Pizza Planet and we walked around and waited for the Blockparty Bash parade, then we came back to the hotel. Honestly, I have forgotten must of what we did after after that. DAY 4: We went to epcot but did not take many photos. We travelled around the world to pin trade. I have forgotten everything we did that day, other than we went swimming that night and at the pool, I officially decided the fate of our relationship together. E and I officially broke up and are no longer a couple. The night was spent dealing with all of this and it was the worst day of our trip. For those who are now worried. Things are okay between E and I.
DAY 5: Again dealing with the aftermath of the break up, I dont remember to much of what we did. I do know we went to Downtown Disney and ate at Bongos. I love cuban sandwiches. We did not take photos this day either. I think we went to Hollywood Studios again and rode Toy Story Mania, did the backlot tour. That is about it. We came back to the Hotel. Watched the Wizards Movie on Disney Channel.
DAY 6: Yesterday… We went to Epcot again. More pin trading. E decided to do the Kim Possible thingy, were you have a mission on the fake cell phone and you travel around Epcot looking for clues. It was fun. I mostly took pictures while she did it. We met Mulan, Alice, Belle and Beast. The beast we had to wait a couple hours to get cause he only comes out at certain times. And the line gets huge and fast, so persistance paid off and I was able to meet beast, which was the one character I wanted to meet so I could send a photo to Mandy. Yaaaay I did it. We at at Germany Biergarten, which was totally yummy nummy. Afterwards, we came back to the hotel. Watched a couple episodes of Wizards of Waverly Place, then did some laundry and came back and watched the Hannah Montana movie on the laptop. I like the movie. E’s official opinion is: “It wasn’t bad. It was Hannah Montana. It held my interest for the entire movie and I did not want to turn it off.”
So, we finished day 2 of our trip and I am so dreading making a video slideshow again. That was so time consuming. So, I am still making them, but I am more just kinda showing you clips of who we met and some things we did. If anyone is interested, but I decided to go back to the blog cause it is less time consuming. LOL.
So… If you are ready…
We got up early, which will be the only day we are setting the alarm, cuz we had reservations to Donald’s Safari breakfast, which used to be called “Donald’s Breakfastasaurus.” Which I prefer cause I like all things “asaurus”. LOL Food was good, we got to met and greet Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy. Goofy kept tickling me, so I had to tickle him back. After breaky, we had to wait til they dropped the rope to get to Expedition Everest for fast passes. We saw that Baloo and some tarzan monkey were out. So, once the ropes were out we headed straight for the furry characters. Damn, Baloo got some strength. He pulled me by my shoulders into his chest for a hug and my neck cracked. I got a headache from it, but who don’t like getting bear hugs.
Afterwards we walked over to EE (Expedition Everest) and got fast passes. E said she was gonna finally go on it with me. YES! After countless times, she gave in. But she needed to wait until food settled. So, I did a quick ride by myself…
Then we headed to Camp Mickey Minnie, where there were a butt load of characters. Daisy, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Chip and Dale, and the bears from Brother Bear. I took video of Donald and Brother bear, which I will post here too (sorry for the blair witch movements).
After that, Laura arrived. We took her over to get her EE fast pass, then we went on the Jungle Trek, where we walked all through the backside of the animal world. Saw tigers, bats, and other creepy animals. Plus, we had to rush through the bird area. Jenny and birds do not mix… Like E and Mandy don’t do spiders, J does no birds. PERIOD!!!
Afterwards, we went back to EE and got on the ride with Laura and E. E and I rode front row, while Laura was behind us. E did okay until the very end, when the ride kept going in circles around the mountain. She made it, but NEVER AGAIN. Laura and I got on it a second time (while in line I got a “talking to” about Mandy). But we rode the ride, front row and made stupid poses for the camera photo. We love bringing a little joy to someone elses vacation photos. LOL!
Afterward, we had a snack… well, E and Laura had a snack at Yak and Yeti for some asian food. While they ate, I texted Mandy for a while. We chatted and caught up some more with Laura. I had to explain the breakup of Janie and my’s friendship, how my writing is so important to me, and the reasons behind Laura not being able to read them. Laura’s such a prude. LOL.
Afterward, we headed back to the hotel for nap time, cause E and I planned to go to MK (Magic Kingdom) for the Halloween Party. We love going every year. Met tons of characters that we had never seen before. I even got went to Stitches dance party and line danced with Goofy, Pluto and Stitch. LOL. I was such a dork, but so much fun. We watched the Villians Mix and Mingle show, which was fun cause I was singing along since the song is on my ipod, so I know the words. And I was being goofy and dancing along with the villians. We rode Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear, Pooh Adventures, Dumbo, Tomorrowland Speedway (Autopia). Ate at Cosmic Rays and tried to find E’s Vinylmation which did not come out today. We did not stay for the whole event cause I did hurt my knee in the turnstile of the Haunted Mansion and by about 10ish, I was hurting. So, we called it a night cause we have another Halloween party next friday, so I am okay with it.
Once back at the hotel, we surfed the net, talked to Mandy, made my videos and decided to post to the bloggie. Everything is going well… Having a great time.
I am getting excited with Disney only days away. Here is the must current update:
Laura, who wanted to plan this whole exciting trip with us and be a part of it all… decided to cancel most of her time with us and take a cruise instead. So, Laura will be there Thursday & Friday… Leaves Saturday for her cruise and I guess she comes back like the following Saturday and we all leave on Sunday. So, out of the 10 days originally planned with Laura, we get 3 days with Laura unless her Fire/Police guy, who she is having a THING with (well, I don’t know, it could be in her head we have not heard much about him… well, I haven’t), is with her which I think he is…. they she will be tied up (and not that way) the rest of the time either doing him or wanting to do him. Which ever is the case. LOL
Me, on the other hand, am little sad cause I am gonna be missing Mandy like crazy… But Disney always is the happiest place on earth and I am so glad to be spending time with Elisabeth without anyone really around us. E and I have the best times when it is just us or with a person who has never been before. I love going to Disney with Elisabeth, she is like the best Disney traveler I know. And she likes knows everything and studies it all so I don’t have to think about anything except having fun. And I am gonna take her on her favorite ride as many times as she wants to go… Elisabeth rox my disney world. LOL! We vacation so differently then other people. Our hotel should be awesome overlooking the savannah, waking up looking at the wildlife outside our window. I get to have breakfast with Donald Duck at his Safari Breakfast.I am so excited…
My trip details this time are gonna be a bit different. I am gonna be making a photo slide show with all our adventures of the day and put them up on you tube with little captions and I will post them here for everyone to look at daily. I might have a few words to say too. But it will be all done here, daily starting THURSDAY NIGHT!!!
I guess that means I am gonna be a photo hound again… Stay tuned people!!! Disney fun and magic is coming your way in just a few days…
Elisabeth, Zak and Laura will be heading to WDW for Star Wars Weekend. Elisabeth will be bringing Cameron, Miley, Emily, Joe and ST (stormtrooper) with her so she can sully up WDW with her perverted imagination with the dolls.
She will be posting some reviews, photos and other fun stuff from the trip.
